Hotwoods Hit-n-Run Bump Gate

This new bump gate is engineered to let you drive through with your tractor, pickup, ATV or any type of vehicle you are going in and out of your livestock pen with.

This all new gate will allow you to drive right through from either direction instead of stopping and opening the gate and shutting behind you going in and out.

The time this saves is amazing!

The gate is manufactured using 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum tubing that telescopes from 1 1/4” down to 1" along with FRP structural fiberglass with UV rated inhibiter (yellow section).

The yellow section and the very end 5” black neoprene tip will not be conductive, while the rest of the gate will be.

All mounting brackets are zinc plated along with all the steel parts on the pivot point.

This gate will extend from 8’ to 18’. Once you get the right length by telescoping the gate out, you will simply drill a hole in the aircraft aluminum tubing and insert a rivet or small bolt through it to keep it the length you need it to be.

The pivoting hub is manufactured from delrin plastic. This is a non-conductive outdoor rated plastic.

The hub is designed in a way that as soon as you hit it with a moving object the contact is broken and the gate no longer has electricity through it.the gate no longer has electricity through it.

Immediately after you are through the gate it will auto retract assuring the livestock will not be able to get out.

This gate comes with all mounting hardware as shown in photo's. It will mount to any post as shown and is very easy to install.

In some cases the customer may need to bury a wire from side to side or go overhead across the gate for electric contact.

If you are installing this gate where you have a permanent fence without electricity and only need the gate to have electricity you can simply purchase a inexpensive solar powered fencer to set beside the mounting post to energize the gate.

Remember, grounding your system is the key to proper functioning with any electric fence system.

Everything you need to install the gate is shown in this picture.

The delrin hub is o-ring sealed on top for moisture, dust prevention, has brass contact points, and over 300 degrees of swing travel on gate arm. 5/8 x 14” threaded rods(2 pcs.) are included with each gate along with pipe mount that is 12’’ long.

Nothing extra to buy, should be able to mount up to about a 12” wood post diameter.

As you see in this photo, you can mount your new gate to a post even if it is not straight out of the ground using ready bolt and a double nut method to level the gate on the mount.
